Trump is accelerating the decline of the greenback

The US greenback was falling for a few decade – so says Kenneth Rogoff, professor of Harvard and former Economist of the IMF. Donald Trump’s industrial insurance policies raised many questions on the way forward for the greenback and the way its decline may affect the remainder of the currencies of the world. Rogoff joins Martin Wolf to debate how the decline of the greenback can improve China, the capitals of the United States and the rationale why cryptocurrency is a higher menace to the hegemony of the greenback than most individuals are made.
