Guantanamo Bay detainee Ridah Bin Saleh al-Yazidi has been repatriated to Tunisia, the US Department of Defense stated.

He was deemed eligible for switch from the detention facility after a “rigorous interagency evaluation course of,” a information launch stated.

The Pentagon didn’t say whether or not Yazidi was discovered responsible.

Since 2002, the Guantanamo Bay detention facility has been used to detain what the United States describes as unlawful fighters captured in America’s “warfare on terror.”
