KILLEEN, Texas (AP) — A fleeing driver drove a pickup truck right into a crowded JCPenney retailer in Texas on Saturday, injuring 5 individuals earlier than he was fatally shot by regulation enforcement, authorities stated.

According to Washko, the chase started round 5 p.m. on Interstate 14. The driver stopped and entered the mall parking zone, crashed into the division retailer and continued driving, Washko stated.
Local regulation enforcement officers on the mall — one working safety and two others who have been off-duty — additionally exchanged gunfire with the suspect, he stated.
