In the sketch, Jon Hamm performed a RFK model codified by the character of Walton Goggins, and referred to fluorine out of consuming water. Sarah Sherman performed Aimee’s character and replied with a questionable British accent by means of comically giant enamel and with a shocked and bewildered facial features. He requested: “Fluoruro? What is that?”
By publishing on Instagram the day after the transmission of the scene, Aimee wrote: “I discovered the Snl factor which means and somewhat humorous XO”.
Aimee later revealed that Sarah had despatched her the flowers as apologies, and the comic now publicly spoke for the primary time on hurting Aimee’s emotions with the sketch.
In an interview with Vanity FairSarah stated he had been “enthusiastic” to play Aimee’s character SnlAnd he felt “horrible” that his illustration had landed so badly.
Reflecting on Aimee’s accident extra straight, Sarah added: “I used to be captivated with deciphering her as a result of she is so iconic, her character is so iconic and clearly I by no means needed to harm anybody’s emotions”.
“Never in 1,000,000 years I took the comedy to make anybody offended,” he concluded. “I really feel horrible that anybody who feels dangerous.”
