A state of emergency has been declared in southern Brazil after heavy rains brought about flooding in coastal cities, together with Balneário Camboriú and Itapema.
The footage reveals partially submerged automobiles driving via flooded streets and Itapema Mayor Alexandre Xepa pleading for assist and rescue help.
