Hector Ayala is a former Puerto Rican vigilante that has reached the rising tensions between the police, the agenda of the mayor of Fisk and vigilantism. After intervening in a case of brutality of the police on a subway platform that led to one of many officers who unintentionally fell on the tracks, Ayala was arrested and was wrongly labeled a Cop-Killer. After listening to him being mistreated in custody, Matt takes on Hector’s case. Cherry, Matt and Kirsten be taught that Hector is the vigilante white tiger.
In the comics, Hector Ayala finds tiger amulets who, if worn collectively, remodel him into the superhuman white tiger. In the comics, Hector can be unjustly accused of homicide and Matt represents him.
