SAN DIEGO (FOX5/KUSI) — Several lanes of Interstate 5 in downtown San Diego have been closed Saturday night resulting from a deadly pedestrian crash.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) issued a Sig Alert at 8:25 pm Saturday resulting from a pedestrian crash on southbound I-5 close to the intersection of Sassafras Street and Kettner Blvd at San Diego International Airport.

Jogger killed in deadly crash recognized
