King Charles is deeply saddened by the dying of a British man killed in a automotive assault in New Orleans on New Year’s Day, Buckingham Palace sources say.
Edward Pettifer, 31 years previous – who was he Called on Saturday morning by the Metropolitan Police – is believed to be the stepson of Alexandra Pettifer, often called Tiggy, who sorted Prince William and Prince Harry after they have been youngsters.
Palace sources informed the BBC that the king had been in touch with Mr Pettifer’s household to share his private condolences.
In a tribute, Mr Pettifer’s household described him as a “great son, brother, nephew and pal to so many”.
