WOODBRIDGE — Police are trying to find the driving force of a automobile concerned in a automobile crash Friday that killed a passenger, authorities stated.

The driver is believed to have fled the scene.

Authorities are persevering with to analyze a single-vehicle crash that killed Mario Ortiz Bonilla, 47, of North Plainfield, stated Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Woodbridge Police Department Director Robert Hubner.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, at 9:05 a.m. Friday, police responded to the world between Route 9 and Green Street within the municipality following a report of an accident. At the scene, authorities discovered a 2017 Kia Sportage occupied solely by Bonilla, the entrance passenger.

Bonilla had succumbed to his accidents and was pronounced useless on the scene, officers stated.
